01. What makes a property “Rishlist-worthy”?

Every stay we feature is chosen based on these six pillars: Good Design Whether it’s minimal, bold, rustic, or modern, the architecture and interiors should have a clear point of view. Layout, materials, and details should feel considered. Outstanding Hospitality From communication to the smallest guest touchpoints, it should feel like someone is paying attention. Sense of Place The stay should reflect where it is. This could be through local food, native trees, regional materials, or simply the mood of the space.

02. Can I book a property directly on The Rishlist?

Not yet. We don’t handle bookings or take commissions. We share links and contacts so you can reach the stay directly.

Yes. Most images on The Rishlist are captured by Rishul Bangar during his personal visits. This allows us to show each space as it truly feels — without excessive staging or editing.

Yes, selectively. Only if the partnership adds value for our readers. Sponsored content is always marked clearly.

07. Do you feature international stays?

Yes, we do. While India is our core focus, we also feature international stays that align with our design and experience values, especially in destinations where an Indian audience is actively travelling. We’ve already featured stays in Africa and Sri Lanka, with more coming soon.
