Vaana sits right beneath the majestic Tikona Fort, which towers above the property and creates a dramatic backdrop. At the same time, you get beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Even though you’re not right at the top, the mid-level perch offers a rare balance of perspective and intimacy, making the setting feel both expansive and grounded.

What we especially loved were the thoughtful amenities and the many little corners waiting to be discovered. From picnic spots to hidden nooks, Vaana is full of surprises. The Perch quickly became one of our favorite places to sit and unwind, and the poolside areas are equally inviting.

In the mornings, soft light filters through the trees and creates beautiful patterns on the tents, adding a gentle charm to the experience.

There’s also a wonderful sense of community. The layout of the tents and the shared gathering spaces naturally encourage moments of connection, without ever compromising on privacy. It’s a glamping experience that feels both immersive and serene—and the fact that it’s easily drivable from Mumbai makes it all the more special.
